Female Hair Thinning Home Remedies

Patchy bald spots are a more common form of female hair thinning than you may realize.  Fortunately, there are home remedies that can provide some relief.

A hair thinning lotion can be made at home by making a paste of pigeon peas and applying it directly to bald patches, particularly at bed time.  Be sure to get the residue completely washed from the scalp when you have finished the treatment.  Another helpful cure for thinning hair can be made by combining lime seeds with black pepper.  Apply this paste to the patchy bald spot twice a day for several weeks.  This paste increases circulation and stimulates the activity of hair growth.

Home remedies for thinning hair vary depending on the cause of hair loss.  Some patchy hair loss can be treated by rubbing essential oils into the scalp.  The following essential oils are particularly effective: lavender, lemon, rosemary, chamomile, and jojoba oil.  It is particularly important for many women to find a treatment that smells nice and feminine.  This is one of the best treatments for thinning hair that also leaves a wonderful fragrance in your hair.

Remedies for thinning hair are not always pleasant, but they do get nice results.  Rubbing bald spots with onion and following that with honey can help increase hair growth.  Also, drinking several glasses of juice made with a combination of lettuce and spinach is said to provide the proper nutrients to promote hair growth.

Female hair thinning products are expensive and time consuming to use.  Consider using a home remedy to treat patchy bald spots before investing a small fortune on products purchased at the store.
