Male Thinning Hair Natural Treatments for Rapid Hair Loss

Hair loss in men is often a hereditary condition that progresses over age and is sometimes difficult to treat.  Another cause of female, child, and male thinning hair is alopecia areata and it is characterized by rapid hair loss in round patches.  The cause is unknown and is often found in people with good health.  There does seem to be a genetic predisposition for this condition because it runs in families.

Although hair usually grows back within approximately one year without treatment, many people seek a remedy for thinning hair to help improve their appearance in the interim.

One thinning hair remedy is the use of essential oils.  A combination of thyme, rosemary, cedar wood, and lavender oils which were mixed into jojoba or grape seed oil caused a marked improvement in many people with alopecia areata.  Be aware of the possibility of allergic reactions, but in general this is a very safe thinning hair remedy for most people.

Another unlikely home remedy is onion juice.  The application of onion juice as a thinning hair solution applied directly on the bald spots twice a day for a couple of months results in hair growth.  Other people simply rub cut onions on the bald patches.

Pastes can be used as a remedy for thinning hair.  Licorice paste is made by grinding pieces of licorice with milk and a small amount of saffron.  Spread the paste on bald spots before going to bed and wash it off with a gentle shampoo in the morning.

If your hair loss is due to alopecia areata, rest assured that your hair should rebound in time.  In the meantime, try to counter male thinning hair with home remedies that are inexpensive and easy to use.
